Obesity and the economic sustainability of health systems

PAHO/WHO and the General Food and Nutrition Coordination of the Ministry of Health of Brazil propose a debate on obesity and the economic sustainability of health systems and on effective measures to guarantee a healthier and longer life for all, in allusion to World Obesity Day (March 4th), which in 2022 has as its theme “Everybody needs to act”.
